Nantwich Lions Club is delighted to announce that it has been granted Charter Club status by Lions Clubs International, making it the UK’s newest Lions Club.
Nantwich Lions Club’s President, Jonathan Welford, said, “We’re delighted to receive this accolade – we’ve worked hard, and in a few short months have increased our membership, organised the highly successful Nantwich Duck Race for Hope House, and raised over £2,500 for local good causes.”
“Now we’ve achieved independent status, we have ambitious plans to develop our activities even further to benefit the people of Nantwich and the surrounding areas.”
To mark this achievement, Nantwich Lions Club has organised a special Charter Celebration to be held at Bench Bar Bistro in Nantwich on the 13th September 2019.
